Introduction
PDS Assistant App is a Windows application designed to assist with the authentication process in cases when other authentication methods are not sufficient.
Authentication With PDS Assistant
When authenticating Source or Target, select the PDS Assistant App option and click the Login button.
After clicking the Login button, the following popup window will appear.
If you are using the PDS Assistant for the first time, proceed with the Installation instructions, then continue the authentication.
To continue the authentication, click on the link in the popup window. You may also experience browser notification where you need to confirm opening the application, such as by clicking Open button like in shown in the following screenshot.

Proceed with the authentication by selecting the account from the list or by authenticating some other account
When the authentication process is finished, the application will close automatically, and authentication will complete in the browser.
Installation
Pre-Requisites
Supported Windows versions:
- Windows 10, version 1709, and later.
- Windows Server 2019 LTSC, and later.
- Windows Enterprise 2019 LTSC and, later.
Installation
To install the PDS Assistant, click on the PDS Installer link in the authentication popup
Once the installer file is downloaded, click Open to run the installation process
Once the installer is started, click Install button to preform the installation. Installation process can take a few minutes to complete.
Once installation is complete, if the "Launch when ready" checkbox was checked (checked by default), you will see the following message:
PDS Assistant is now installed and ready to use, so you can continue the authentication.
